You can write to us to get information about the hair transplant operation you would like to have. Our assistant, Ms. Ecem, will contact you and inform you about the operations performed by Dr. Kinyas and about hair, eyebrow, beard and mustache transplants, and will also determine whether you are suitable for the operation.
On the morning of the operation, if local anesthesia will be applied, the patient is told to have breakfast. If sedation (sleep) will be applied, it is recommended not to take any solid or liquid food for at least 6 hours before the operation.
Before the transplant, the hairline is drawn for the patient who is suitable for hair transplantation. The hairline varies from person to person depending on the size of the bald area and may also change according to the number of grafts. Pre-transplant photographs of the person whose hairline has been determined are taken and filed. After planning, the hair is shaved. Your hair must be shaved at the hair transplant clinic on the day of the operation. After shaving, local anesthesia is applied and the extraction and implantation of the hair follicles begins.
The 3rd day is known as the "hair transplant wash day". On this day the patient comes to the hospital. After being examined by the doctor, the first wash is performed. Care is applied to the nape donor area. The patient is told to continue eating healthily and to keep taking their medication.
The 10th day is known as the "scab removal" or "scab cleaning" day. If the doctor finds no damage in the transplanted area and it is clear that the follicles have settled, the scabs are removed. On this day the follicles are first soaked, a water-based lotion is applied and left for 30 minutes. Then the scabs are thoroughly wiped off with a clean cloth and the hair is washed. By day 10 the donor area has healed and the hair starts to grow. The procedure ends with a multivitamin supplement and a shampoo recommendation suited to your hair type.
