FUE Sapphire Technique Hair Transplant
The FUE Sapphire Technique hair transplant is applied in a manner similar to the classic FUE Technique. In the Sapphire FUE Technique, the hair follicles (grafts) are taken one by one with a micromotor device and kept in petri dishes. Afterwards, the transplant area is prepared and the channels are opened. In the classic FUE Technique, razor blade pieces are used when opening channels. In the Sapphire FUE Technique, diamond-like pieces designed according to graft diameter are used. The fact that these pieces are sharp and slow to blunt makes things much easier for the doctor while opening channels. There is no evidence that the Sapphire FUE Technique is more successful or more advantageous, or less successful, than the classic FUE Technique.
