OUR AIM: A NATURAL HAIRLINE, BALANCED COVERAGE AND PRESERVATION OF THE DONOR AREA
- An individual assessment of hair loss, hair characteristics, donor capacity and expectations.
- Dr. Kinyas designs the hairline around facial proportions, age and existing hair direction.
- Graft numbers and distribution are planned with both coverage and future donor resources in mind.
- During KSD preparation, grafts are separated by single-, double-, triple- and four-hair structure and allocated according to each area’s needs.
- Fine single-hair grafts are used to aim for a natural transition at the hairline; multi-hair grafts support coverage behind it.
- Dr. Kinyas plans donor harvesting, guides the team during extraction and personally performs implantation with DHI pens.
- Individual care and follow-up continue from the first wash through growth reviews.

Dr. Kinyas Düşünmez graduated from Akdeniz University Faculty of Medicine in 2013. After completing his compulsory medical service, he worked as a physician in the emergency departments of various private hospitals in Istanbul. He further developed his professional practice through training in occupational medicine, mesotherapy and medical aesthetics. He holds Turkish Ministry of Health-approved certificates in hair transplantation, aesthetic medicine and mesotherapy.
Working in hair transplantation since 2016, Dr. Düşünmez has focused on medical consultations, individualised transplant planning, treatment and post-procedure patient follow-up. In 2018, he established his own brand, Dr. Kinyas Hair Clinic, and began managing hair transplantation and follow-up care for patients from countries around the world.
His areas of focus include planning high graft counts in DHI procedures and distributing grafts containing one, two or three hairs according to the needs of each recipient area. His approach aims to create a natural-looking frontal hairline and balanced coverage in the mid-scalp and crown, within the limits of the available donor capacity.
Dr. Düşünmez uses the KSD hair transplantation planning approach that he developed. This approach considers the extent of hair loss, donor area capacity, hair shaft characteristics and the patient’s expectations together. The aim is to work with high graft counts in a single session in suitable patients and distribute grafts evenly across the areas that need them, while considering the long-term appearance of the donor area.
For Dr. Kinyas Düşünmez, hair transplantation is more than a graft count. A natural frontal hairline, preservation of the donor area, an individualised distribution of density and regular patient follow-up form the foundations of his treatment approach.
Consultation & Graft Planning
Graft requirements depend on the distribution of hair loss and an assessment of the donor area. A preliminary photo assessment does not replace an in-person medical consultation.
