DHI Hair Transplantation
Assessment of the donor area, a hairline suited to your features and graft distribution by region. Placement with DHI pens is one part of this individual plan.
What happens during DHI?
Grafts harvested from the donor area are placed into the recipient area with Choi implanter pens. FUE describes the harvesting stage; DHI describes placement using an implanter pen. Existing hair, the pattern of hair loss and donor capacity are assessed together.
Individual hairline and donor planning
The hairline is planned with facial proportions, age, existing hair direction and expectations in mind. Regional graft distribution and future donor resources matter alongside the graft count.
Assessment of the grafts
The transition at the hairline and coverage in other areas have different needs. Graft characteristics and placement are considered accordingly. A method name alone does not guarantee a particular density or result.
How many grafts are needed?
There is no single number suitable for everyone. The area of hair loss, hair thickness, donor resources and possible future loss are considered together. A preliminary photo assessment does not replace an in-person medical consultation.
Aftercare and follow-up
Care instructions and review schedules are tailored to the individual. Progress is assessed through recovery and follow-up photographs. Results vary between individuals.
